Quang Tri: Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant has been connected to the national power grid

At 8:23 pm on 7th September, the Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant project in Quang Tri province officially connected to the national power grid to start the turbine commissioning process.

On August 22th, the Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant project was successfully connected to the Lao Bao 220kV substation. A representative of Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Joint Stock Company – the project investor said: “It is expected that the turbine commissioning process will take 10 to 15 days. If the above turbine commissioning process results are successful, this project will be granted COD certification and start commercial operation.”

Technical engineers implement steps to connect electricity from Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant to Lao Bao 220kV substation.

Wind Power Plant project has 9 pcs WTGs with a total 30MW capacity. The project is at Huong Linh commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.

The investment policy of this project was approved by the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province for the first time in Decision No. 781 on April 9th, 2019; after that, this investment policy continued approved the adjustment in the following 2 times later, October 13th, 2020 and March 10th, 2022 with the investment capital of the project was 1,118 billion VND
