Quang Tri: Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant Project has completed the connection of the substation
The Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant Project in Quang Tri province has officially completed the connection to the 220kV Lao Bao Substation.
On the morning of August 22th, the Huong Linh 3 wind power plant project in Quang Tri officially completed the connection to the 220kV Lao Bao substation after more than 2 years of implementation. Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant Project is invested by Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Joint Stock Company with 9 pcs WTGs – 30MW capacity, located in Huong Linh commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province.
The investment policy of this project was approved by the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province for the first time in Decision No. 781 on April 9th, 2019; after that, thisinvestment policy continued to be approved the adjustment in following 3 times later, October 13th, 2020; March 10th, 2022 and May 16th, 2023.
Initial period, the project has an area of 9.02 hectares with a total estimated investment capital of more than 1,530 billion VND. Then, after the 03 adjustment times of the investment policy, the investment capital of the project was 1,118 billion VND.
The Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Plant Project
The representative of Huong Linh 3 Wind Power Joint Stock Company said that: After 2 years of implementation. Currently, the project has completed the construction and is connected to the 220kV Lao Bao substation. We are dedicated to working with the contractor to carry out the final procedures for connecting to the national grid and the commercial operation date is expected to start in October 2023.
Up to now, Quang Tri province has more than 30 wind power projects planning approval with a total capacity of 1,177.2MW. Specifically, there are 19 wind power projects with a total installed capacity of 714MW and were put into commercial operation with a total capacity of 671.1MW.
Most of the wind power projects are concentrated in Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, and mostof them are located in Huong Linh and Huong Phung communes. Huong Linh commune alone has more than 10 wind power projects.
